Well yesterday I did a lot of work on neatening up my style sheets that little bit more, which was going ever so well until one of my readers pointed out that in Internet Explorer the centre column was appearing quite a bit further to the right than it should, leaving it stuck underneath the right sidebar.

Looks like I have a lot more work to do.

After fiddling around with various freely available themes from elsewhere, Jo helped me put together a raft of styles for the site all based around my standard three column design, so as not to confuse you all with layout changes on each design ( Read more... )

Well that was insanely simple. Thanks to Ryan Boren who adapted Alex King's old Wordpress 1.2 Style Switcher, you all now have the opportunity to choose whichever theme suits you best. I've made sure that all the themes you have available will work and have appropriate names so enjoy yourself.

Well folks, Jo's announcement that she didn't like my winter theme, followed by Steffy's announcement that she wanted some variety (ahem...pink) has led me to searching out some new themes. Amazingly they all work with my modified sidebar, though most are single sidebar themes which means that all the information normally on the right of the screen ( Read more... )

I just got in from a wonderful night out (thanks to my mates) to find out that one of my favorite comedians, a man whose popped up in films and television for most of my life and whose work I really enjoyed, just passed away from a heart attack.

I honestly have to say, this really is a sad ending to the day.
